To celebrate the opening of The Ledward Centre - Brighton's LGBTQAI+ new safe space, The Socially Engaged Art Salon (SEAS) is putting together a large scale group exhibition with works by artists, photographers and film-makers that have shown work at SEAS during the past year as well as new work by twenty artists chosen from an open call. The exhibition will include works by pioneer international queer photographers working during the 70's and 80's, contemporary socially engaged photographers working through collaborative practices with community groups in the UK and abroad, studio and street photography and much more. Pending funding the exhibition will include artists' talks and collaborative photoshoots - details TBA on social media and SEAS' and The Ledward Centre's websites.
