Sales of the crypto world’s non-fungible token have been gathering momentum, with intermittent pauses here and there, for some time now. But what does this mean for artists and the future of art sales?
This is for you if you’re an artist working in the digital space and wondering where to start - or if you’re a budding collector looking to diversify your catalogue. In this session, we will run through creatively digitising artworks, curating NFTs and the democratisation of space and transactions through contracting and royalties and choosing safe platforms.
Shardcore is a Brighton-based artist and curator who makes work in a range of media, from painting, to digital installation, to machine-learning AI art. His favourite themes are identity, consciousness, the philosophical ramifications of artificial intelligence, big data and the relationship between humans and machines.
Dev Moore is a net artist, curator, creative technologist, and member of the FELT collective. Dev’s work incorporates technology, music culture, and more all while referencing components of tech culture.
Rebecca Asseh is a crypto and blockchain Writer with an interest in emerging technologies and financial psychology.
The Rise and Future of NFTs discussion will be Chaired by Hettie Judah who is the chief art critic of The I, and a regular contributor to Frieze, The New York Times, The Guardian.
