This event will feature short presentations and a panel discussion with three artists/activists.
Individually, they have subverted traditional digital platforms and their public-facing manifestations by building interactive archival spaces, queering datasets and developing digital tools for social intervention. Collectively, they have drawn from Intersectional, Black, Feminist, Queer and Trans activisms to create online spaces that challenge normative social constructs and their omissions.
Among other topics, the session will explore questions around digital activism, the subversion of digital spaces and the disruption of digital privilege.
